Firstly this is for vegan/non vegans so nobody gets confused.
1. Yes, we know everyone loves meat. Sometimes it can get expensive but there are cheap prices on on different meats. Pork is a really good choice and so is chicken!
2. Buy fresh produce and freeze what you can!
3. Go to Farmers Markets in your area! You can look at ads in your town or ask a friend that knows.
4. Re purpose leftovers. Not everyone is a fan of left overs but it really does help if you don't have much in your kitchen. Look up ways to properly keep certain things fresh and how long they can sit in the fridge/freezer.
5. Always Always Always keep an organized kitchen/cupboards etc. It will definitely help you out finding the right things and keep your mind on tract, especially if you have busy lives!
6. Plan and prep meals ahead of time. This helps out so much!! You could easily go online and find meal organizers to print off for the week/month ahead!
7.Beans and more beans! Beans are very inexpensive staple and can go for so long!
8. Also rice! Rice lasts a very long time and you can never get enough rice!
9. Sales! Sales are everywhere, be on the lookout for them! You can sign up for upcoming sales in your area! Every grocery store has new ads every week for new upcoming sales!
